In this version, the aim of the players is to make the aviator opponent discard a card and then their own card to their disadvantage. After all players have placed, only the highest valued card of the right suit wins and that person takes the trick. If there are more high-ranking cards, there are two people with the highest cards and they take turns alternately.

For example, if you are playing a game with jacks and spades, your cards might consist of two diamonds and three spades. This means that your opponent might have jacks and spades as well.
